Family Chore App SMS Notifications
The Family Chore App is a private family chore tracking app used by our household. It is not a public service, and there is no public signup.
Who receives messages:
SMS notifications are sent only to parent or guardian phone numbers in our household.
What messages are sent:
When a child clicks “Done for parent review,” the app may send a text message to the parent or guardian letting them know the child is ready for chore review.
Sample message:
“Family Chore App: Kaden is done and ready for parent review.”
Opt-in:
Parent or guardian phone numbers are manually added by the app owner only after the parent or guardian has agreed to receive these chore notifications. There is no public opt-in form.
No marketing:
Messages are household chore notifications only. We do not send marketing, promotional messages, or third-party messages.
Message frequency:
Message frequency varies based on chore activity.
Opt-out:
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just reply “STOP” to the text you received. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have just been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

SMS Rates:
As always, message and data rates may apply to any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive SMS messages as soon as a child clicks the “Done for parent review” button. Multiple messages could be sent each day. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
Privacy Notice:
Phone numbers are used only for Family Chore App notifications. We do not sell, rent, share, or trade phone numbers or personal information for marketing or promotional purposes.
